Reception/seating: for dinner between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM, for lunch between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM.
On Wednesday and Thursday, you can choose from a 4 or 6-course menu. On Friday and Saturday, we only serve the 6-course menu. On Sunday, we serve our lunch menu.

Our dishes change with the seasons and remain a surprise. Therefore, we do not publish a complete menu with dishes on our website.

Allergies and dietary wishes
Our menu is carefully constructed. Each course and ingredient has a function within the whole.
We are happy to accommodate officially communicated allergies and medical dietary restrictions. Our kitchen works with the 14 legally established allergens. Always mention an allergy when making your reservation, so we can assess in advance how we can safely welcome you at the level of Ode.
Since we work with a small team and the dishes are developed as a whole, we cannot accommodate personal taste preferences or extensive individual dietary wishes. For multiple allergies, medical diets, pregnancy, or other complex adjustments, we ask you to contact us in advance so we can assess what is possible together.
Vegetarian and vegan options are possible when this is indicated in advance at the reservation.
Adjustments communicated only during the visit may not always be possible. For this, we charge a fee of €30 per person.
One menu per table
To serve the menu at the right pace and with the same attention for the entire party, the whole table must choose the same number of courses. Pre-discussed allergies and medical dietary restrictions will be incorporated into that menu structure where possible.
Children
Children are welcome at Ode. However, we do not have a separate children’s menu. They will therefore eat from the menu that is being served at that time.
Dogs
We love dogs, but due to our fully open kitchen, pets cannot be allowed in the restaurant.
Dress code
At Ode, there is no dress code. Come as you feel comfortable. High standards and a relaxed atmosphere go hand in hand for us.
Accessibility
Guests using a wheelchair are warmly welcomed. Restaurant Ode is accessible on the ground floor and has an adapted toilet there.
Parking
Restaurant Ode does not have its own parking lot. In and around the center of Dokkum, you can use public parking facilities.
Overnight stay
Would you like to make your visit to Ode a complete stay in Dokkum? An overnight stay is possible at Hotel Abdij Dokkum. The ODE package from Hotel Abdij can be booked from Wednesday to Saturday and includes a hotel stay, a 6-course menu at Ode, and a 6-course wine pairing. The package cannot be combined with the 4-course menu.
Cancellation
A reservation at Ode means that we hold a place for you and carefully prepare the service with our small team. Products are specifically purchased, and a table that becomes available shortly before the reservation cannot always be filled again.
If you wish to cancel your reservation, we ask you to inform us as soon as possible. In case of cancellation within 24 hours before the start of the reservation, we will charge cancellation fees amounting to 50% of the menu price per person.
We ask for your understanding of this policy: it helps us continue to work with a small team and high-quality, often specially purchased products.
